Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks an EHS Specialist for Chemical Compliance to ensure global chemical compliance and hazard communication across the PDx portfolio. You will lead SDS, GHS labeling, PCN, and emergency response documentation while collaborating with EHS, Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to enable compliant product introductions and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Regulatory Affairs, or related scientific discipline.
• Significant experience in chemical compliance, product stewardship, regulatory affairs, EHS, or related field.
• Working knowledge of GHS classification and labeling requirements.
• Experience authoring and maintaining Safety Data Sheets.
• Advanced knowledge of global chemical regulations including REACH, CLP, UK REACH, OSHA HazCom, and related frameworks (preferred).
• Experience with Poison Centre Notifications and emergency response systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, review, and publication of MSDSs, PIDs, and related hazard communication documentation.
• Ensure compliance with global chemical regulations and GHS labeling.
• Support classification of substances and mixtures and hazard communication requirements.
• Design and review product hazard communication labels per regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on MSDS, labeling, and chemical compliance matters.
• Monitor global regulatory requirements impacting PDx products.
• Support product registration and market access with chemical compliance docs.
• Support PCN requirements for EEA markets.
• Assist with REACH and regional chemical regulations.
• Maintain emergency response information for external responders.
• Collaborate with EHS, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Engineering/R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial.
• Lead or support compliance projects related to hazard communication and chemical management.
• Provide technical consultation and training to internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of product stewardship and chemical compliance processes.
