Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an EHS Specialist for Chemical Compliance to ensure global chemical compliance and hazard communication across the PDx portfolio. You will provide technical leadership for SDS, GHS classification and labeling, PCN requirements, and related product compliance activities.

You will collaborate with EHS, Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams to support compliant product introductions and lifecycle management,

Qualifications

• Significant experience in chemical compliance, product stewardship, regulatory affairs, EHS, or related field.
• Working knowledge of GHS classification and labeling requirements.
• Experience authoring and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work across global and cross-functional teams."

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, review, and publication of MSDSs, PIDs, and hazard communication docs.
• Ensure compliance with global chemical regulations and GHS.
• Support classification of substances and hazard communication requirements.
• Assist with design/review of product hazard communication labels per regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on MSDSs and chemical compliance.
• Monitor and interpret global chemical regulatory requirements impacting PDx products.
