Job summary

GE HealthCare PDx is seeking an EHS Specialist for Chemical Compliance to lead global hazard communication and chemical regulatory activities across the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics portfolio. You will provide technical leadership for SDS, GHS classification and labeling, poison centre notifications, emergency response information, and related product compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
• Significant experience in chemical compliance, product stewardship, regulatory affairs, EHS, or related field.
• Working knowledge of GHS classification and labeling requirements.
• Experience authoring and maintaining Safety Data Sheets.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work across global and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced knowledge of global chemical regulations including REACH, CLP, UK REACH, OSHA HazCom.
• Experience with Poison Centre Notifications and emergency response systems (preferred).
• Experience with regulated pharmaceutical/medical device/healthcare products (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, review, and publication of MSDSs, PIDs, and hazard communication docs.
• Ensure compliance with global chemical regulations and GHS labeling.
• Support classification of substances and determine hazard communication requirements.
• Assist with design and review of product hazard communication labels.
• Provide technical guidance on MSDSs, labeling, and chemical compliance.
• Monitor and interpret global chemical regulatory requirements affecting PDx products.
• Support product registration and market access needing chemical compliance docs.
• Support Poison Centre Notification (PCN) requirements for EEA markets.
• Support REACH, regional regulations, and substance declarations.
• Lead or support compliance projects for hazard communication and chemical management.
• Provide training to internal stakeholders and ensure continuous improvement.
