Job summary

Maples Group is seeking an E‑Billing Analyst to join our Finance function. The role focuses on end‑to‑end e‑billing, ensuring timely, accurate submissions and invoicing across multiple jurisdictions.

You will resolve rejections, liaise with fee earners, and uphold client billing requirements while supporting revenue collection. In this global law firm environment, you may work across time zones, applying knowledge of LEDES formats, e‑billing platforms, and related tools to optimize processes.

Qualifications

Experience in e-billing, legal billing, or revenue-related roles.
Understanding of e-billing workflows: submission, validation, rejections, resubmission.
Familiarity with LEDES formats and UTBMS codes.
Experience with billing platforms and vendor systems is advantageous.
Strong communication with fee earners, clients and finance teams.

Responsibilities

Submit electronic bills to clients via e-billing platforms accurately and on time.
Monitor e-bill status, identify rejections, investigate causes and fix issues.
Coordinate with fee-earning teams to obtain accurate billing data and ensure compliance.
Keep up-to-date with client-specific e-billing rules and LEDES requirements.
Support cash collection targets and reduce aged work-in-progress.
Handle high volumes of e-bills and meet SLAs.
Suggest process improvements and automation opportunities.
