Job summary

Technical Placements Ltd in Gloucester seeks an experienced international sales professional to lead distributor and agent partnerships across Europe and LATAM. The role offers remote or hybrid options, with £65K base salary plus uncapped commission and benefits, plus an early finish Fridays and international travel.

You will develop new international markets by growing a network of distributors and agents for a healthcare-focused specialist manufacturer whose products are used in hospitals

Qualifications

• Strong B2B sales and business development experience.
• Proven experience identifying, appointing and managing Distributors and Agents.
• Experience developing new territories or international markets.
• Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• The ability to manage Distributors against agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
• Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• The flexibility to undertake regular international travel.
• Experience within medical devices or healthcare advantageous but not essential.
• Experience across the EU and/or LATAM with Spanish/French beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify attractive new international markets and routes to market.
• Identify, approach and recruit suitable Distributors and Sales Agents.
• Assess potential partners based on market coverage, customer relationships, sales capability and commitment.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate Distributor / Agency arrangements.
• Develop onboarding and launch plans for new partners.
• Provide Distributors with product knowledge, sales tools and training.
• Agree sales targets and market-development plans with partners.
• Manage and develop existing international Distributors and Agents.
• Monitor Distributor performance, pipelines and sales activity.
• Travel internationally to meet existing and prospective partners.
