Job summary

Novartis seeks an Executive Director Pricing & Contracting to shape pricing and access for innovative medicines on a global scale. You will lead a high-performing team, develop launch and in-market strategies, and partner with senior leaders across markets to optimize patient access and long-term value.

You will influence cross-functional pricing, reimbursement submissions, and payer negotiations, working across Immunology and other therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level pricing experience in pharma or health Economics & Market Access.
• Experience leading pricing & contracting across multiple brands/therapies.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing Pricing & Contracting team and foster innovation.
• Develop global pricing and contracting strategies to maximize access and long-term value.
• Advise priority countries and senior leadership on pricing decisions.
• Partner with Therapeutic Areas, Access, HEOR, Finance, Strategy & Growth.
• Guide pricing scenario analyses and reimbursement strategies in major markets.
• Shape launch sequencing, governance, and price implementation globally.
• Monitor policy developments and identify pricing risks/opportunities.
• Drive strategic pricing projects and actionable insights for business decisions.
