Job summary

EVEREC in Surrey is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead product engineering and manufacturing. The role is on-site in Surrey, with UK/Bulgaria/Malaysia sites, reporting to the COO. You will drive strategy, governance and lifecycle support for safety-critical products, including bespoke changes, across three sites. Hours are 6am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri, with some flexibility, and permanent on-site work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering organisation in a regulated industry.
• Experience designing and supporting complex engineered products.
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and people management.
• Understanding of design processes from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy and develop capability across UK, Bulgaria and Malaysia.
• Direct multi-site teams: mechanical, electrical and electronic.
• Ensure on-time, quality and cost delivery of standard and bespoke solutions.
• Oversee design reviews, change control and product documentation.
• Strengthen governance and product development processes across the organisation.
• Deliver lifecycle management for safety-critical products and assurance activities.
