THE GIG

As part of the Global Digital Marketing team, you will lead the development and execution of digital content for Dr. Martens’ campaigns across all digital channels. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, and working in close partnership with regional digital teams, you’ll shape how we engage with consumers throughout their journey across ecommerce, CRM and paid media channels.

As our Global Digital Content Manager, you will be responsible for:

Digital Content Strategy & Campaign Planning

  • Leading the creation and execution of digital content strategies
  • Developing strategic campaign plans across ecommerce, CRM, and paid media channels
  • Managing digital workflows using internal project management tools for all Global Brand stories across Newness, Icons and AMP product categories.
  • Aligning with the Global Social Content Lead on consumer journeys across organic social and digital channels

Content Development & Collaboration

  • Acting as the go-to link between Global Tech and Global Marketing
  • Briefing internal teams (Global Studio, Digital Design, Copy) with digital-first content needs in mind.
  • Collaborating with Global UX and Digital Design teams to deliver engaging, user-friendly, and effective content experiences.
  • Collaborating with Global Marketing, Global Brand Studio and regional Digital Marketing teams to brief asset needs, gather insights on performance, and deliver strategic full funnel recommendations for digital paid channels across paid social, display, and search.
  • Partnering with Global SEO to ensure content enhances brand visibility and supports commercial goals.

Channel & Toolkit Management

  • Delivering comprehensive digital marketing toolkits to regional teams to enable execution that’s globally consistent.
  • Maintaining alignment with Global Retail and PR to ensure unified brand messaging and consumer journeys are being considered across channels.

Regional Coordination & Performance Tracking

  • Leading global check-ins with regional teams to improve digital content processes and execution.
  • Supporting digital A/B testing initiatives and incorporate learnings into future content briefs.
  • Defining KPIs with campaign teams and gather regional feedback for ongoing optimisation.
  • Understanding digital best practise and be the go-to expert on digital content.

Customer-Centric Content & Innovation

  • Contributing to Customer Data Platform (CDP) initiatives to improve the customer journey.
  • Collaborating with the Global Community Lead to identify community-driven content opportunities.
  • Managing the UGC (User-Generated Content) platform, leveraging consumer content to boost DTC sales.

  • Understanding of the different paid media platforms and best optimised content formats, across paid social, display and search.
  • A consumer-first mindset with a deep understanding of the digital customer journey
