Franklin Templeton in London seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to support digital projects within the International Digital Projects Legal Team. You will provide strategic legal guidance, collaborate with global regulators, and lead drafting and negotiations related to digital assets initiatives.

The role sits in the London office, part of the EMEA legal team, with opportunities to influence policy and drive best practices across jurisdictions.

Formación

• 6-10 years PQE; experience outside this range will be considered
• High level of attention to detail and critical thinking
• True team player with excellent relationship-building skills
• Seeks out challenge and comfortable operating in a flexing environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal projects independently
• Positive, can-do attitude with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of structuring and marketing of funds internationally; interest in digital assets a must

Responsabilidades

• Act as subject matter expert on legal matters for digital assets projects internationally (global ex-US).
• Collaborate with local Legal colleagues and external counsel to provide legal guidance, training, knowledge sharing and best practices in the digital projects space.
• Lead drafting and implementation of agreements and interaction with regulators or support local Legal colleagues and external counsel on this work.
• Advocate Franklin Templeton’s policy positions in the Digital Asset space with regulators and trade associations; engage with industry groups and conferences.
• Collaborate with Digital Assets team leadership, technology, finance, compliance, data privacy, and corporate communications to support global projects.
• Stay up to date on legal and regulatory developments affecting digital assets; contribute to internal training.
• Attend conferences and meetings internationally to support the above goals.
