Job summary

PureGym AG is seeking a Group Data Compliance Manager to lead global privacy and data protection strategy, acting as the designated DPO and privacy advisor across markets. The role reports to the Group Head of Health & Safety and collaborates with regulators to uphold governance and risk management across the organisation.

The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on privacy programme delivery, including DPIAs, data mapping, and cross-border data transfers, while supporting business

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading data protection programmes in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
• Demonstrable experience acting as a Data Protection Officer or senior privacy professional.
• Expert knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, Swiss FADP and applicable US privacy legislation.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Data Protection Officer function and regulatory oversight.
• Overseeing privacy compliance programmes and DPIA activities.
• Managing data subject rights requests and third-party privacy arrangements.
• Maintaining data mapping, retention schedules and organisation-wide privacy governance.
