Job summary

PureGym is seeking a Group Data Compliance Manager to lead global privacy and data protection strategy across all operating markets. The role acts as the primary privacy advisor, reporting to the Group Head of Health & Safety, and collaborating with regulators, governance, and cross-border data transfer oversight.

Hybrid role based in London or Leeds, two days in the office, with international travel as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading data protection and privacy programmes in multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Demonstrable experience as a DPO or senior privacy professional.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR (UK/EU), FADP, US privacy laws and international data transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's privacy governance across all markets.
• Oversee data protection compliance and regulatory engagement.
• Drive DPIAs, data mapping, data subject rights, and data transfer controls.
• Provide strategic leadership for privacy risk management and reporting.
