Job summary

SPX is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background to oversee and deliver large-scale Data Links projects. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations and commercial functions, coordinate international deployments, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of hardware and software installations and tests.

The role requires 6+ years in technical and project management, familiarity with RF technologies, and PMP/Prince2 certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of technical experience and 6 years' project management experience on large and complex projects.
• Familiarity with RF technologies, ISR systems, or tactical communications is highly desirable.
• Experience working internationally or with global teams, especially UK and Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of a major project and other smaller projects from planning through handover.
• Maintain schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budget tracking, monthly and quarterly status reports and conducts project meetings, customer reviews, and management reviews.
• Lead risk management and mitigation strategies across geographies, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, monitors staff progress, ensuring timelines and budgets.
• Manage all on-site activities, including site prep, shipments, installation and commissioning of hardware and software, and testing.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and commercial functions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders during execution.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and company policies.
• Support sales and marketing activities in project and program management roles in proposals, negotiations, amendments and close-out.
