Job summary

OQC is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to help deploy and operate quantum computing systems in commercial data centers around the world. You will transform complex engineering knowledge into scalable procedures and training to support reliable customer outcomes.

You will work with scientists, engineers and technicians to develop robust operational processes, document clear SOPs and deliver technical training.

Qualifications

Experience in data centre operations or critical infrastructure environments.
Experience developing technical documentation, work instructions or SOPs.
Experience delivering technical training or mentoring engineers/technicians.
Experience working with customers or contractors during deployments.

Responsibilities

Support deployment, installation and commissioning of systems at customer data centres worldwide.
Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials for field operations.
Act as bridge between engineering teams and smart hands technicians in data centres.
Provide remote and on-site technical support during deployments, upgrades and service interventions.
Capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvements in procedures and product design.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, serviceability and safety standards.
Build relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers and data centre operators.
