Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a skilled Audit professional to expand credit risk audit coverage across Finance, Treasury, and CAO. You will work in a global team to assess controls, validate CECL calculations and risk exposures, and interact with senior leaders and regulators to strengthen assurance.

You will contribute to high-quality documentation, timely deliveries, and knowledge sharing while coordinating with stakeholders across time zones. UK work eligibility is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Extensive credit risk management experience across multiple control lines.
• Strong knowledge of Basel III, EU/US risk regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience with data manipulation, transformation and reconciliation in audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end audit engagements for credit risk across Finance, Treasury, CAO.
• Assess controls supporting credit risk management, including CECL calculations.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and regulators to provide independent assurance.
• Share knowledge and train the team to strengthen audit capabilities.
