Job summary

THX UK is seeking a Credit Control Specialist to safeguard cash flow and support risk decisions. You will own a ledger, liaise with contractor clients, and influence process improvements across the business.

You’ll manage overdue accounts, negotiate plans, and work with insurers/solicitors on legal cases. This role fits a proactive communicator who can balance transactional work with strategic risk management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident with Excel and accounting systems; Sage 50 a plus.
• Independent and team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Process sales invoices and issue monthly statements.
• Proactively chase overdue accounts by phone and email.
• Negotiate payment plans and progress legal proceedings when needed.
• Maintain records of credit limits, reports and customer contacts.
• Post and allocate customer receipts; liaise with insurers/solicitors on cases.
