Job summary

SmartestEnergy Limited is seeking an Industry Cost Analyst within the Optimisation & Structuring Group to support our Retail Pricing function and ensure accurate pricing of industry non-energy costs across GB retail and generation contracts.

You will forecast and maintain industry cost data, assist with new retail pricing services, and provide specialist advice on industry charging to stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Operations, Risk and Finance.

Qualifications

• Numerical/analytical capability with financial modelling experience.
• Experience modelling industry costs including network charges and policy costs.
• Understanding GB electricity market and energy product structures.
• Familiarity with macroeconomic factors affecting costs; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Pricing of industry non-energy costs across GB retail and generation contracts.
• Forecasting and maintaining industry cost data; supporting new pricing services.
• Advising on industry charging to stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure pricing reflects regulatory changes and information security policies.
