Job summary

SmartestEnergy Limited is seeking a Global Risk Analyst to support the Group Risk function across the SmartestEnergy Group. You will monitor, analyse and report on key risks across international operations, while shaping a consistent global risk framework and robust governance.

Working with the Global Risk Manager and leadership, you’ll gain exposure to energy trading risk, across market, credit and operational dimensions, and contribute to strategic risk initiatives and process improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline.
• Substantial experience in risk management, wholesale energy trading, financial services, consulting or a quantitative analytical role.
• Experience analysing data and producing reports using Excel and other analytical tools.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
