Job summary

Kyowa Kirin International seeks a Senior Director to lead global Corporate Communications, shaping strategy, messaging and brand reputation across external stakeholders.

You will guide thought leadership, manage corporate channels, and work with C-suite on crisis and issues, while driving cross-functional programs on science, DE&I, sustainability, and access to medicines. You will build a high-performing team and partner with Patient Advocacy to amplify milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications preferred; deep experience in communications, and proven experience in corporate communications specifically, including in-house experience; agency experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop a global Corporate Communications Strategy and platform that builds awareness for the company and its employees among key stakeholders
• Develop a clear and compelling corporate narrative and associated materials that tell the Kyowa Kirin story on the global stage
• Increase overall presence for Kyowa Kirin in media outlets to support reputation building
• Be a voice among internal stakeholders for protecting the company's reputation and guide decisions accordingly
• Collaborate with teams to implement programs highlighting science, DE&I, sustainability, and access to medicines
• Adapt and manage corporate channels including website and social media
• Contribute to crisis and issues response planning to protect reputation
• Partner with Corporate Communications and Patient Advocacy teams to amplify milestones through channels
• Join the Global Corporate Communications and Patient Advocacy Leadership team and shape the function's strategy
• Lead a team of communications professionals, fostering growth and a shared vision
