Job summary

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Controls Engineer to join a well-established specialist machinery manufacturer. The role involves PLC/HMI and motion control programming, with Allen Bradley/Rockwell experience including Studio 5000 and Kinetix motion systems, plus occasional Siemens TIA Portal exposure.

You will support builds, commissioning, and customer installations on a global basis. International travel is required (USA, Turkey, North Africa, China) about 4–5 times per year,

Qualifications

• Experience in special purpose machinery or automated manufacturing.
• Strong PLC/HMI programming experience with focus on safety.
• Willing to travel internationally for commissioning and support.
• Excellent collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support machine builds, commissioning activities and customer installations.
• Work with networked control systems, vision systems and motion control applications.
• International travel approximately 4–5 times per year, trips 2–3 weeks each.
• Operate in a 9 days on, 1 day off fortnightly pattern and ensure high engineering standards.
