Job summary

Spirax-Sarco Engineering seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to support EMEA & APAC operations with hands-on contract execution and risk mitigation beyond legal aspects. You will be embedded with sales and proposals teams, negotiating terms and guiding governance within approved thresholds.

This role requires practical contract experience, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive due diligence and sanctions checks before quoting and order logging across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating contracts and executing them in practice.
• Ability to evaluate risks, enforceability challenges, and business impact.
• Experience supporting sales during live negotiations.
• Understanding contract governance, compliance, due diligence, and financial risk mitigation.
• Strong decision-making and risk management in contract terms.
• Proactive approach to driving priorities and contract discipline.
• Experience in international contract management across jurisdictions.
• Experience assessing liquidated damages with PM/PCM.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate agreements and ensure enforceable terms with risk control.
• Support sales teams by aligning terms with business objectives.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and minimum standards before approvals.
• Conduct due diligence, sanction and financial checks before orders.
• Standardise contract governance across EMEA & APAC.
• Review contract priorities and drive information flow for timely execution.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks with project management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for cross-functional alignment.
