James Fisher and Sons plc is seeking a Resource Manager to govern our contingent technician workforce across UK, Europe and APAC. The role is full-time, permanent and home-based with travel as required.

You will lead onboarding, compliance and governance for contractors, while supporting project delivery with cost control and supplier management. A strong collaboration with Operations and Project teams is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience in contingent workforce management within technical/engineering environments.
• Knowledge of onboarding, compliance and governance for contractors.
• Understanding of IR35 and international workforce requirements.
• Experience managing contractor costs, rates and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain a pipeline of contingent technicians through networks and approved suppliers.
• Oversee end-to-end contractor onboarding with required documentation before deployment.
• Ensure contractor compliance, governance and ongoing monitoring.
• Coordinate global mobility, right-to-work, immigration and regional compliance.
• Manage timesheets, invoices and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain contractor rate information and cost intelligence for project costing and bids.
• Manage supplier performance to improve service quality and reduce external agency reliance.
• Provide reporting on availability, onboarding, compliance, costs and expiries.
