As Resource Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end governance of our contingent technician workforce, ensuring contracted technicians are sourced, engaged, onboarded and managed compliantly across projects in the UK, Europe and APAC. Acting as the central point of control for contractor management, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling successful project delivery through robust workforce compliance, commercial oversight and contractor readiness, while partnering closely with Operations and Project teams across the business.

What you'll be doing:
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled contingent technicians through direct contractor networks and approved suppliers.
  • Manage the end-to-end contractor onboarding process, ensuring all agreements, certifications, insurances and documentation are in place before deployment.
  • Oversee contractor compliance, including employment status assessments, governance requirements and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Coordinate global mobility requirements, ensuring right-to-work, immigration, tax and regional compliance obligations are met.
  • Govern contractor timesheets, invoices and payment processes, ensuring accuracy, cost control and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain contractor rate information and cost intelligence to support project costing, bids and commercial decision-making.
  • Manage supplier performance, driving service quality, compliance and cost efficiencies while reducing reliance on external agencies.
  • Provide reporting on contractor availability, onboarding status, compliance, costs and upcoming expiries, supporting deployment readiness across global projects.
What we're looking for:
  • Strong experience in contingent workforce management, contractor resourcing or labour supply within a project-led, technical, engineering, energy, offshore or field services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of contractor onboarding, compliance and workforce governance.
  • Understanding of IR35, international workforce requirements and contractor administration.
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing contractor costs, rates and suppliers.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in workforce, recruitment or ERP systems, with excellent attention to detail.
Why join us?
  • Competitive salary and benefits package aligned with experience (Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Cycle to work scheme, Company Pension, etc.)
