Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a detail-oriented conflicts analyst to support the Global Operations Team in London. You will review new business for potential conflicts, analyze complex information, and collaborate with the London AML and GC teams, as well as attorneys across Europe and Asia.

The role requires knowledge of professional conduct standards and strong commercial awareness. You will use IntApp Conflicts and Walls tools to identify issues, prepare clear communications to requesting lawyers, and

Qualifications

• Experience with law firm conflicts and/or new business preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and attorneys.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Use IntApp Conflicts software and third-party databases to run conflicts searches for new and existing matters.
• Provide thorough analysis of search results identifying potential conflicts and confidential information issues.
• Draft communications to lawyers explaining issues and suggesting resolutions or workarounds.
• Escalate to senior stakeholders in the UK, US and Europe when needed.
• Run conflict checks on lateral hires at Partner and Counsel levels.
• Assist in drafting engagement and waiver letters and identify need for ethical walls.
