Job summary

TP ICAP Group is seeking a Compliance Surveillance Analyst in Belfast, responsible for the review of alerts from trading and communications systems. The role includes conducting assessments, escalating issues, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates will have strong Microsoft skills, good communication abilities, and ideally, experience in monitoring within financial services. This position also offers opportunities to incorporate AI and data science into market surveillance.

Qualifications

• Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to respond to urgent queries accurately and effectively.
• Flexibility to take on varying team roles based on workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 'level one' assessment of alerts from trade/order systems.
• Escalate alerts requiring further investigation.
• Assist in post trade monitoring of compliance with Exchange rules.
• Develop knowledge of products and regulations.
