Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Compliance Surveillance Analyst in Belfast on a 9‑month temporary contract. The role is hybrid with three days in the office per week, delivering surveillance analytics and regulatory support.

You will review alerts, document dispositions, and assist with regulatory inquiries while collaborating across Assurance, Internal Audit, and Legal. The ideal candidate has compliance or risk management experience, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience in compliance or risk management.
• Knowledge of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and analyzing surveillance alerts related to firm, employee, and client trading activities.
• Document review and disposition of exceptions while escalating matters appropriately.
• Gather and analyze trade data to support responses to inquiries from governmental and regulatory bodies.
• Communicate surveillance findings to management clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with internal partners, including Assurance, Internal Audit, and Legal.
• Handle hotline inquiries and perform data entry as needed.
• Assess risk with every business decision to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Working Pattern: Full Time, hybrid, working 3 days in the office Monday - Friday 40 hrs per week

Location: Belfast

Pay per day: £145 umbrella
