Job summary

TP ICAP in Belfast is seeking an Assurance Analyst to join the Risk & Compliance Assurance team. Based in Belfast, the role supports risk assessments, assurance reviews, data-driven analysis, and reporting to strengthen the control environment.

You will work across the three lines of defence, contribute to the assurance plan, and help evolve methodologies with data analytics and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years' experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, Operations, or a related control function, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret information and identify key risks and themes.

Responsibilities

• Support risk assessments across business entities, functions and processes using stakeholder engagement, data analytics, and scenario-based testing techniques.
• Assist in developing and executing the annual Risk & Compliance Assurance Plan, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and enterprise risk priorities.
• Deliver assurance activities across engagements, including reviews, testing, and desktop investigations.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls and identify opportunities for strengthening risk management practices.
• Produce high-quality reports, management information, and analysis for senior management.
