Job summary

EY’s Newcastle Centre of Excellence seeks a Senior Associate in Global Tax Managed Services to help multinational clients with outsourcing, operating model design, and compliant reporting across jurisdictions.

You will build relationships across tax and finance teams, work with senior colleagues and clients, and develop project management, process improvement and commercial skills within a collaborative global team.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate or indirect taxes or accounting from a professional services firm or in-house team
• Strong client relationship management and ability to deliver quality outputs
• Project management skills: plan, prioritise, meet deadlines, monitor budgets
• Experience working on international or multi-jurisdictional projects
• Some coaching and development of junior staff helpful

Responsibilities

• Support global tax contracts, service delivery, governance and KPI reporting
• Build relationships with stakeholders across jurisdictions
• Work with senior team members and clients to develop project delivery and commercial skills
• Contribute to business development, pricing exercises and client case-for-change materials
• Share tools and approaches to improve tax transformation and team effectiveness
