Siemens Energy is seeking a Commodity Manager to own global sourcing strategies supporting manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Procurement and business management to ensure supply base competitiveness, quality, delivery and cost objectives.

Lead a cross-functional commodity circle and drive value engineering, supplier performance and strategic negotiations. The role includes supplier market analysis, spend analytics and lifecycle management, with a focus on

Formación

• Degree preferred in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related discipline.
• At least five years in supplier-facing purchasing, strategic sourcing or commodity management.
• Experience with technical commodities in manufacturing/industrial environment; metal forming knowledge a plus.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills; experience managing supplier contracts and terms.
• Excellent analytical skills: market research, spend analysis and TCO evaluation.
• Great communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement global commodity and sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze supplier markets, material availability and pricing trends to identify opportunities.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation and selection with Engineering and Quality.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships with regular engagement, site visits and reviews.
• Negotiate framework and pricing agreements; oversee contract lifecycle and terms.
• Conduct spend analysis and TCO assessments to identify savings and mitigate risks.
