Job summary

CSA Group is seeking a Certification Specialist to deliver product certification programs requiring interpretation of standards, processes, and procedures. You will make technical decisions to maintain the integrity of CSA’s global certification programs and provide technical support, staff training, and participation in standard committees.

The role acts as a technical authority within CSA and across industry, supporting international standard development and CSA Group Continuous Improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Registration as Professional Engineer preferred.
• Knowledge of CSA, UL and IEC standards and test procedures.
• Strong leadership and management skills required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage certification projects concurrently to meet time and budget targets.
• Evaluate products against national and international standards and precedents.
• Prepare and sign certification reports and certificates of compliance.
• Represent CSA on committees and provide technical briefings and presentations.
• Conduct facility assessments and witness tests at customer sites as required.
• Support sales with technical expertise and develop new opportunities.
