Job summary

CSA Group is seeking a Team Lead to manage the day-to-day delivery of certification and testing services for a designated product group. You will ensure targets are met, guide a team of certified staff, and uphold safety and quality standards across projects.

The role requires engineering background, leadership experience, and a strong grasp of national/international standards. This position emphasizes client satisfaction, budgets, and timely project execution within a global testing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or degree in Engineering with 5-7 or more years of job related experience
• 3-5 years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Thorough knowledge of Standards and testing procedures
• Thorough knowledge of CSA certification options, programs and services applicable to a variety of equipment
• English fluent and strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operation and delivery of certification and testing services in the assigned product group.
• Hires, trains, disciplines and terminates staff as required; develops performance goals and monitors productivity.
• Develops the business plan and operating budget items for the product group in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
• Maintains customer satisfaction indicators and financial targets for the designated area.
• Reviews test data, reports and cert reports; conducts assessments in manufacturing and service industries as required.
