Job description

Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with clients in order to achieve revenue targets and drive growth.

  • Proactively secure new business from fashion and related clients, and support non-endemic verticals when necessary
  • Explore strategic ways to increase revenue within i-D’s existing client portfolio
  • Monetise the i-D brand across all platforms, providing tailored, consultative solutions for each client’s unique needs

Collaborate with editorial and creative teams on compelling packages

  • Understand the i-D tone of voice and positioning in the media landscape
  • Work cross-functionally with editorial, creative, and social teams in order to seamlessly incorporate commercial opportunities within the i-D content portfolio, including understanding i-D’s upcoming content calendar, industry tentpole moments in fashion, music, and culture, talent opportunities, etc.
  • Have excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders

Have a robust understanding of advertising and marketing product offerings

  • Leverage expertise in wide breadth of advertising and marketing products (social, display, programmatic, print) and studio services (white-label, co-branded, experiential, custom) to offer clients the best integrated solutions that align with their goals and drive impactful results

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders

  • Represent i-D in front of clients and be equally comfortable liaising with agencies and brands directly
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, with proven track record of delivering or exceeding quota
  • Strong client relationships across endemic fashion categories
  • Ability to travel as needed
