Job summary

Diageo, a world leader in beverage alcohol, seeks a Regulatory Specialist Equity to protect the integrity, quality and compliance of our global brands. You will act as the subject matter expert for Brand Technical Equity, coordinating with production sites, global brand teams and procurement to set standards and ensure contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical support function in food, beverage or alcoholic drinks.
• Degree in Food Science, Science or related technical discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of liquid formulations and product development.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes supporting quality and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Brand Technical Equity Framework.
• Act as SME for Brand Technical Equity, providing regulatory guidance to internal teams and sites.
• Develop and maintain Brand Technical Manuals for global brands.
• Manage the central Brand Technical Manual portal across 80+ sites.
• Own key technical standards and governance, monitor compliance and report KPIs.
• Partner with Global Brand Teams, Technical functions, Procurement and external partners.
• Deliver training and capability-building initiatives on regulatory requirements and brand standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and tools for efficiency and data quality.
• Provide risk-based regulatory advice balancing commercial opportunities with brand integrity.
