Job summary

Sonar is seeking a Global Benefits Manager to design, administer, and continuously improve our global benefits programs across all hubs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.

You will manage vendor relationships, lead open enrollment, and partner with Legal and regional HR to align with local regulations.

The role requires 6+ years in global benefits, strong project management, and data analytics to support talent growth in a fast-growing AI software company headquartered in London.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of global employee benefits management experience across AMER, APAC and EMEA.
• Strong knowledge of benefits compliance across multiple jurisdictions (US, UK, CH, DE, ES, Singapore, India, UAE, Japan, Australia).
• Experience managing vendor and broker relationships, including contract negotiation.
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple enrollment and compliance deadlines.
• Experience using HRIS/benefits administration platforms and analyzing benefits data.
• Clear and empathetic communication with employees on benefits topics.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage benefits programs across all global hubs with local compliance and competitiveness.
• Manage relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, and vendors globally; negotiate renewals and evaluate offerings.
• Partner with Legal and regional HR to ensure programs comply with local labor and tax regulations.
• Lead annual open enrollment and ongoing employee benefits education/communication.
• Analyze benefits utilization and cost trends; advise leadership on plan design and budget.
• Manage leave-of-absence programs and ensure compliant administration across regions.
• Respond to employee questions and escalations on benefits as a SME.
• Benchmark Sonar's benefits offerings against market practice to support talent attraction and retention.
