Job summary

Smartbox Assistive Technology is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You will support the month-end cycle, prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations, and help keep balance sheets and intercompany records accurate to support our global mission.

You’ll also assist with R&D project accounting in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, cover expenses and purchase ledger when needed, and collaborate across Finance, Orders and the wider business to

Qualifications

AAT qualified, or studying towards ACCA, CIMA or similar qualification.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
Experience with month-end, journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Support the month-end cycle, prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
Maintain balance sheet, intercompany records and assist with reporting.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting processes.
Support R&D project accounting in Microsoft Dynamics BC.
Cover expenses and purchase ledger when needed and resolve queries with colleagues.
