Job summary

Bio-Techne Ltd seeks an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team with month-end close and year-end processes. You will assist with VAT reporting for UK and overseas entities, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.

The role requires strong Excel skills and ERP experience, ideally Dynamics 365, across multiple legal entities. You will contribute to accurate monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements while ensuring internal controls and regulatory

Qualifications

• Strong accounting background.
• Excellent IT skills, including advanced level Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Key contributor to delivery of month end close and management accounts across multiple entities.
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Maintain intercompany trading and sundry balances; clear differences.
• Prepare data for VAT filings and local statutory accounts for foreign subsidiaries.
• Support year end and interim group audits with external auditors.
