Job summary

Tsubaki Nakashima Co., Ltd seeks a Quality Engineer to support the Global Quality Manager in leading the global quality organization and ensuring that products meet customer requirements and internal standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

You will drive APQP across ball and roller manufacturing, manage PFMEA and PPAP submissions for automotive and industrial OEMs, maintain process flows, control plans, and dimensional inspection standards, and supervise supplier quality and SPC initiatives.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate, preferably Mechanical or Automotive.
• At least 3 years in quality roles in automotive/manufacturing.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and OEM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead all five phases of APQP process for ball and roller manufacturing.
• Facilitate PFMEA to mitigate risks (heading, flashing, heat treatment).
• Coordinate PPAP submissions to T1 customers for automotive/industrial OEMs.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, control plans, and dimensional inspection standards.
• Evaluate sub-tier suppliers for APQP/PPAP compliance.
• Implement SPC and capability studies.
• Lead root-cause analyses (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) when nonconformities occur.
