Job summary

You will drive APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, and SPC, implement process controls, and collaborate with suppliers to uphold ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100 across automotive and industrial programs. Experience with 8D, 5 Whys and lean methodologies is desirable.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related quality discipline required.
• Minimum 3 years in automotive quality teams or similar manufacturing.
• Understanding of automotive standards and customer-specific requirements (e.g., OEMs).
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP deployment across five phases for ball and roller manufacturing.
• Facilitate PFMEA to mitigate process risks (heading, finishing, heat treatment, etc).
• Coordinate PPAP submissions for major automotive/industrial OEMs.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, control plans, and inspection standards.
• Evaluate sub-tier suppliers to ensure APQP/PPAP conformance.
• Implement SPC and capability studies for key processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) for nonconformities.
