Job summary

SGS, the world’s leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company, is seeking a Senior Service Development Manager to shape its anti-fraud, tax and customs portfolio. You will collaborate with government officials, technology providers and regional teams to develop innovative services.

You will identify opportunities, build business cases, and lead strategic bids across international markets, with a strong focus on Africa.

Qualifications

7+ years in tax, customs, trade facilitation, anti-fraud or government advisory environments.
Strong understanding of customs, taxation, border management or revenue assurance ecosystems.
Proven experience driving innovation across products, services, and business models to strengthen unique value proposition.
Experience with public tenders and government procurement processes.
Exposure to African markets and French language capabilities.

Responsibilities

Identify emerging market opportunities and develop innovative government solutions.
Build compelling business cases and support investment decisions for new products and services.
Drive growth initiatives across existing and new international markets.
Develop relationships with key public-sector stakeholders and decision makers.
Lead tender strategies and major international bids.
Represent SGS at international conferences and government meetings.
