As a Riser Design Engineer - Global Analyst, you will receive appropriate training to allow you to work within the Baker Hughes Flexible Pipe Systems Engineering team to provide global analysis engineering support from bid acquisition through to project execution.
You will work within a passionate technical team to design solutions for global customers on major projects.
The Global Analysis Team at Baker Hughes create simulation models for our flexible pipes to predict loading, test scenarios and define ancillary requirements. We work closely with other engineering functions and are a fundamental defining the scope of projects.
The Global Analyst will utilise software tools to imagine subsea configurations and simulate real world operating conditions to test the proposed solution. We work within the project or tender team to ensure our analysis work brings value to our customers at every stage.
The role offers opportunity to be creative, design solutions, plus to explore detailed engineering interactions. We provide full training for the software tools and use detailed methodology standards to guide what we do.
