About the Role

As a Global Account Director at EcoOnline, you will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with our largest, most strategic global accounts. This role requires a results-driven professional with the ability to align client needs with EcoOnline’s EHS, ESG, and Chemical Management solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with strategic partners to drive joint plans, enhance value propositions, and grow revenue. You will work across multiple regions to manage complex sales cycles, build trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders, and deliver value-driven solutions that meet and exceed business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management & Growth:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for EcoOnline’s global accounts, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
    • Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction across the full suite of EHS, ESG, and Chemical Management solutions.
    • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, expanding relationships into additional regions, business units, and functions.
  2. Revenue Generation:
    • Own and achieve sales targets for assigned global accounts, driving software bookings and long-term recurring revenue.
    • Lead the negotiation of large, complex deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for EcoOnline and the client.
    • Work closely with presales, product management, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions that demonstrate measurable value.
    • Collaborate with strategic partners to align on joint value propositions, co-develop plans, and execute strategies that drive incremental revenue growth.
  3. Strategic Partner Collaboration:
    • Work with EcoOnline’s strategic partners to create and implement joint business plans that align with mutual goals.
    • Foster strong relationships with partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
    • Leverage partner ecosystems to enhance EcoOnline’s presence and value proposition within global accounts.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders at client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their success.
    • Facilitate regular executive briefings, business reviews, and joint planning sessions to ensure alignment and ongoing value delivery.
    • Act as the voice of the customer within EcoOnline, providing feedback to influence product development and strategy.
  5. Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams across sales, presales, customer success, and product to deliver seamless and impactful customer experiences.
    • Ensure effective communication and alignment across all regions and teams supporting the global account.
    • Mentor and coach sales team members on best practices for managing strategic accounts and partner relationships.
  6. Market Insights & Strategy:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity within the EHS, ESG, and Chemical Management sectors.
    • Leverage market intelligence to position EcoOnline as a leader and trusted partner in the eyes of global clients.
    • Contribute to the development of global sales strategies and initiatives that align with company goals.

What we're looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, account management, or a similar role, with a focus on managing strategic, global accounts.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a SaaS environment.
  • Experience working with strategic partners to drive joint business plans and achieve shared revenue goals.
  • Expertise in EHS, ESG, or Chemical Management software or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align with clients’ and partners’ strategic goals.
  • Ability to navigate and manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration in a global context.
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions, software integrations, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Knowledge of EHS, ESG, and Chemical Management best practices and regulatory landscapes is a plus.
