Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Bradford is seeking an experienced Staff Grade Doctor to support our NHS glaucoma service, providing clinical and surgical assistance within our hospital.

The role requires GMC registration, UK practice, and a solid background in ophthalmology, especially glaucoma management. You will work both independently and as part of a dynamic team, delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised university.
• Valid GMC registration with a license to practise in the UK.
• Experience in ophthalmology, particularly glaucoma management.
• UK NHS Glaucoma clinic experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate and manage patients with glaucoma and other ocular conditions.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, tonometry (VFT), CCT and gonioscopy.
