Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to join our civil infrastructure team in Glasgow on a permanent basis. You will provide technical support on site, ensuring works are delivered to programme, safely and to specification.

Key tasks include setting out, surveying, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring RAMS are observed, with opportunities to develop within a major UK infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• Prev site engineering experience within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong setting out and surveying knowledge.
• Experience using GPS and setting-out equipment.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes.
• Experience with buried services and safe excavation practices.
• Ability to interpret RAMS and follow project procedures.
• Health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• CAT & Genny training.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering and construction activities.
• Carrying out setting out and engineering surveying using GPS and surveying equipment.
• Providing engineering support and technical guidance to site teams.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works comply with project specifications.
• Locating and identifying buried services to support safe excavation.
• Supervising subcontractors and monitoring compliance with project requirements.
• Reviewing and working in accordance with RAMS.
• Supporting temporary works activities where required.
• Recording and reporting site progress, engineering information and issues.
• Promoting high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across the project.
