Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Cleaner/Housekeeper for a fixed-term 6-month contract at Bellahouston Academy in Glasgow. The role is part-time (15 hours/week) on-site with a pay rate of £13.51 per hour.

You will deliver a clean, safe learning environment for pupils and staff, manage stock and consumables, and operate cleaning machinery in line with training. PVG checks are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Highly organised and responsible with good attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and support colleagues as needed.
• Experience using chemicals and machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning service that meets contract requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and per training.
• Maintain high-quality service for building users at all times.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards across the contract.
• Support local and business zero carbon programmes where appropriate.
