Job summary

Amey Ltd is seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper for Hillpark Secondary School in Glasgow. This permanent role offers 15 hours per week, typically 4pm–7pm, Monday to Friday, at a rate of £13.51 per hour.

You will deliver high-quality cleaning services across the school, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance, while supporting wider sustainability initiatives where possible. This role requires PVG checks and a commitment to safeguarding students.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning chemicals and safe machinery operation.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning service to contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables.
• Operate machinery safely with training guidance.
• Ensure high-quality service for building users and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain H&S standards across the contract.
• Support local and business zero carbon programmes as appropriate.
