Job summary

Southside Housing Association invites applications for a part-time Welfare Rights Officer in Glasgow to deliver a Welfare Benefit Advice service to carers in the Glasgow South Carer’s Service. The post is funded until March 2028 and offers 21 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of UK and Scottish welfare benefits, help clients maximise income, challenge decisions and prepare for tribunals, working with the existing Welfare Rights and Money Advice teams to provide

Qualifications

• Deliver specialist welfare rights advice and support.
• Assist clients to maximise income and challenge decisions.
• Collaborate with other support services for holistic care.
