StepChange Debt Charity in Glasgow is seeking a Regional Facilities Assistant to keep the office safe, welcoming and well‑maintained. You’ll work on site five days a week, supporting day‑to‑day facilities and collaborating with the Facilities Team at Head Office.

You’ll help manage supplies, coordinate contractors, assist with health and safety tasks, room set ups and sustainability activities, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, maintenance or office support.
• Ability to manage room setups and stock handling.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to perform manual handling when required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain office supplies and storage areas.
• Respond to facilities requests through the Fresh ticketing system.
• Coordinate contractors and service providers and keep records.
• Prepare meeting rooms and spaces for training and events.
• Carry out basic non-specialist maintenance tasks and equipment checks.
• Assist internal moves and office relocations.
• Support health and safety processes and workplace inspections.
• Support sustainability initiatives and energy monitoring.
• Help coordinate workplace engagement activities.
