Job summary

HyImpulse Technologies GmbH is seeking an Office Manager to lead the Glasgow office operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming and well-equipped workplace. You will manage landlord relationships, safety compliance, and cross-border coordination with Germany.

You will handle UK HR tasks from recruitment to payroll inputs, and act as the main admin contact for UK staff while liaising with German HR and facilities teams. Strong English and UK employment knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Office Manager, Office Coordinator or HR Administrator.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law; CIPD qualification preferred.
• Practical understanding of office health and safety.
• Experience with HRIS (Personio) and applicant tracking; proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Excellent organisational skills; ability to prioritise across multiple locations.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to communicate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day Glasgow office operations, ensuring a safe, tidy workspace.
• Manage relationships with landlord and external providers.
• Own office health and safety, including risk assessments and fire safety.
• Organise team events and travel across UK and Germany.
• Admin contact for UK staff; ensure inductions and site access are in place.
• Manage UK employee lifecycle including payroll inputs and benefits.
• Act as UK contact for HR and facilities in Germany.
