Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness across client sites from Glasgow Fort. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, kitchens, and communal areas, restocking consumables.
• Dispose of waste in accordance with recycling and health and safety guidelines.
• Operate cleaning equipment responsibly and maintain them in good working order.
• Report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Previous experience in cleaning preferred but full training provided.
• Ability to work flexibly across different shifts.
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
