Job summary

Sanctuary in Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Property Services Scotland Regional Commercial team. Based in Glasgow, you will support the Regional Quantity Surveyor with costs, budget monitoring and reporting, and assist with on-site surveys and project delivery.

You will build relationships with stakeholders, maintain procurement and invoice processes and help improve financial performance across reinvestment programmes and capital projects while ensuring value for

Qualifications

• Must hold Degree, HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying or Construction.
• Experience managing commercial administration for reinvestment programmes and ad hoc capital projects in social housing or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Quantity Surveyor with costs, budget monitoring and reporting.
• Carry out on-site surveys as directed by the Regional Quantity Surveyor.
• Help deliver projects on budget while ensuring value for money and quality standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement values and support invoice management processes.
• Attend projects and commercial meetings and support reporting requirements.
