Job summary

Gibson Recruitment Limited in Glasgow is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a flagship development. This is a permanent role based in Glasgow with a salary of £45,000 - £60,000 DOE plus benefits.

The role reports to the Commercial Director and offers opportunities for career progression within an established Scottish contractor.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• IT proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Commercial Director.
• Commercial awareness of contracts to maximise profitability.
• Preparing, submitting, and agreeing a budget and monitoring actual performance against the budget.
• Adept at applying the appropriate financial processes.
• Strong knowledge of materials procurement processes.
• Support the Project and Contract Managers in respect of project and commercial deliverables.
• Production of monthly cost and value forecasts.

A leading sub-contractor delivering commercial FIT-OUT projects for some of the most well-known Tier 1 Building Contractors in the industry. Due to continued expansion, they are currently recruiting a QUANTITY SURVEYOR or SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR to help deliver a flagship development in Glasgow.

Your New Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join an Established Scottish Contractor that can offer career progression and exposure to challenging projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Commercial Director.

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• Applicants MUST be based in Scotland, within commuting distance of the advertised location.
• Demonstrable Surveying experience within the Built Environment
• IT proficient with Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
